2 DAYS/1NIGHT TSAVO EAST/WEST
DAY 1
Meet and Greet at your hotel/residence at 0530hrs and drive about 100km in the direction of Nairobi. Enter the famous Tsavo National Park (11,000 sq, km), began around the turn of the century when the Kenya – Uganda railway and Tsavo bridge were built.
It was then that this territory was declared to be a National Park because of its abundance of wildlife.
Tsavo is well known for its population of red elephant, Buffaloes, Zebras, Giraffes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Ostrich, Impalas and Gazelles may be seen.
Occasionally Lions and Cheetahs may be seen. Aquatic birds will be seen at Aruba dam.
Lunch at Lodge/Tented Camp overlooking a nearby waterhole with photo hide offering a good opportunity for photograph, a buffet lunch will be served. Further game drives en route to Tsavo West National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Tented Camp.
DAY 2
Early morning game in Tsavo West National Park with a visit to Mzima Springs where thousands gallons of water flow every day from the nearby Chyulu Hills. Hippos, Fish and Crocodiles could be seen from a sunken underwater observatory Tank. Elephants, Zebras, Lions and other game could be seen.
Drive back to the lodge for breakfast. Further game drives after breakfast with a visit to Shetani Lava. Lunch at Lodge/Tented Camp, game drives en route to Mombasa/Nairobi. You will arrive Nairobi/Mombasa late afternoon and be transferred to your Hotel/Residence. END OF A MEMORABLE SAFARI
